Photograph of a scene at Mount Elizabeth high school after the first of 40 "casualties" arrived in the Civil Defence advanced treatment centre. Spectators watched from the gallary as the victims were sorted, depending upon treatment required, and taken to the appropriate area. The afternoon session was preceeded in the morning by a rescue demonstration at city centre in which accident victims were lowered from roof top to ground level.
