"On October 12th, Kitimat Branch 250, Royal Candian Legion, their Ladies' Appreciation Dinner on the day set aside each year when the Legionnaires publicly show their appreciation to the Ladies Auxiliary for the great work they accomplish for the Bravnch during the year. The Legionnaires usually prepare and serve the dinner and handle the clean-up chores (although there is a sneaky rumour going around that some them occasionally shanhai their L.A. Wives to assist them.)"
