Written by Brahm Wiesman of Vancouver and two graduate students, Marie Lauzier and Robert Friesen, after having spent the summer of 1974 living in and researching Kitimat.

"Rub-a-scrub-glub!!! Lorna Irving (left) and Pat Haughton, a couple of white tornadoes, when it comes to car washing worked on Kinette car wash over the weekend at Vic's Gulf Station in Kildala. Proceeds, according to Mrs.Haughton are going towards the community. "It's a surprise". She said."
