Kitimat is a model city built by top planners in order that up to 50,000 people could be housed and serviced. The basic industry is a huge Aluminum Smelter, lumbering, some fishing and tourist trade. The name Kitimat was derived from the Indian (sic) Village across Kitimat channel." Edges of postcard are wavy.
