Ashtray stand handcrafted by Norm Hansen, a millwright in Kemano. The top and base are made of aluminum fashioned in a disc-like shape, with a section of light yellowish-brown wood above the base and below the top. The top 'disc' is smaller than the bottom one. In the middle is a cylindrical rock core sample from the mountains near Kemano, marbled black-and-white in colour.

Photograph of Esso gas station in downtown Kitimat. Text "HOME" visible on front. Other buildings around it. Lower City Centre parking lot area is in foreground. Lots of snow. Two men are walking through a path in the deep snow. Only their upper bodies are visible. In the front left, some cars appear to be peaking out of the snow.
