Heavy rainfall over the past several days have damaged rivers and creeks to overflow their banks yesterday. Highway 25 between Terrace and Kitimat was cutoff by a washout at Williams Creek. In Kitimat, meanwhile several areas were reported underwater and dikes hard-pressed to contain the swollen Kitimat River.
