Photo showing Reeve Sam Lindsay, who will officially open the Lions' Trade Fair tonight, is shown above with Lions' President Toni Jenster and other members of the club at the opening of the new Nechako wading pool on Saturday, May 8th. The pool is located in the neighborhood play area between Hawk and Heron Streets, and is the second neighborhood pool constructed by the Lions' Club for Kitimat youngsters. Both pools, on completion, were turned over to the municipality for operation under the municipal recreation program. Pool supervisors are provided by the municipal playground staff during the two month summer holiday period each year.
