A view of the northern section of Alcan's Kitimat Smelter, one of the largest in the world. All raw materials are imported to produce 268,000 tonnes of value - added aluminum ingots annually for use in Alcan's Western Canada fabricating plants and export mainly to Asia and the U.S.A.
