Photo showing Perfect Score, 450, Bowled. Bill Harkness, operator of the Dairy Plant, Crawley McCracken Co. Kemano has rolled up twelve strikes on the Kemano Recreation Association Alleys at an open Bowling session. Bill, although not one of the high average bowlers of the community is an enthusiastic league bowler and has proven that with perserverance the elusive 450 can be rolled.
The Kemano Alleys were installed a year ago by National Bowling and Billiards of Vancouver and are considered to be one of the best set of lanes in the Province.
The Kemano Recreation Association purchased the Alleys which are installed in a building remodelled by Alcan for the purpose. Bowling has now become the No. 1 sport of the Kemano residents.
