Kemano 1951 - the main construction camp housed 2,450 single men and 44 families, complete with recreational facilities, school, and mess hall to feed 800 men in shifts around the clock. Another camp for 250 families in trailers and prefabricated houses was established half way to the Kemano dock.

Inside Mount DuBose in Kemano - a power tunnel 25 feet in diameter and ten miles long was drilled from four headings. The tunnellers met at the heart of the mountain.

Growth from Larch Polypore: L.L. found at Kemano River. The woody substance was pulped up and boiled and drank as a remedy against tuberculosis. It looks like a weathered piece of wood picked up from
the beach.
Sitka Spruce is written on it in black marker.

Miniature aluminum ingot – prior to the tri-lock design – presented to delegates on the Vancouver Board of Trade Goodwill Tour in 1960. The Vancouver Board of Trade also sent a 220-member industrial tour party in 1955 to visit the new towns of Kitimat and Kemano.
