Scope and Content
Photo showing challenge winners in the Aluminum City bonspiel was the Keith Melanson rink of Terrace. They won the challenge with a final win over the Jim Sherstan rink of Kitimat, but lost a "C" flight final to the Dave Lecompte rink of Kitimat. The Melanson quartet, left to right, rear: Keith Melanson (third), Joe Whitney (skip), and left to right front: lead Ian Johnson, and Parker Mills (second).

The visit was part of the workshop sponsored by the B.C. Child Care & Polio Fund to bring Kinsemn who sponsor the fund, up to date on latest developments in the care programs. Grants from the Fund established the neurological research at UBC.
