Photo showing Fire Chief Aubrey Creed's 27' Sailboat - name of Sailboat "Unafyr". Article as follows: Fire Chief Aubrey Creed's 27 foot sailboat is shown on the choppy waters of the Douglas Channel at Kitimat, B.C. on a brisk May day this year. Mr. Creed, with help from his wife and family, built the "Unafyr" himself, taking a year to do the job in his spare time. He is a native of South Africa who came to Canada in 1948, moving to Kitimat as head of the municipal fire department in 1954. Mr. Creed, whose department consistently places top in fire and first aid competitions in the province, this week (July 13-18, 1964) marked 10 years in Kitimat as Fire Chief. He says, "They've been good years except for the weather this summer, which has let us all down", no doubt meaning that he hasn't had a chance to give the "Unafyr" a fair trial.
