Very well-kept for its age. Several loose threads, most noticeably halfway down the proper-right sleeve (about 7 cm underneath the Northumberland badge.)

Biographical Notes
Original owner lived in Kitimat as a young boy in the 1950s and was a member of the Cub Scouts (junior Boy Scouts).

Black tuxedo jacket. Originally numbered 974.40.4, but another tuxedo jacket was found with the same number, and confirmed as being the real item associated with the number. No other tuxedo jacket was found in the main register, so this item was renumberd and made a found in collection.

A - Traditional vest with white back and pink front with rainbow floral patterns and blue, green, yellow, and white border. Bottom has green pockets with yellow and blue borders and red, yellow, and white patterns. Colourful flowers patterns are sprouting from the pockets. Back of vest has tab with same colour pattern as pockets.
B - Pink, red, green, yellow, and white chumpi (belt).
