Demelt, 45 White Street, 2nd Prize Garden Contest Winner, a $15 certificate donated by the Hudson's Bay Company in the 12th Annual Sentinel Garden Competition on the weekend. The Demelt garden is one of several well-developed efforts in the Whitesail area, putting this neighborhood in the forefront with Kildala. Judges agreed that there is a noticeable decline in garden care and upkeep in Nechako area. Mr. & Mrs. Demelt scored heavily for their use of rockeries.
