After coming to Canada as a Polish soldier under British command, Feliks Rewers (who was an avid photographer) was assigned to work at Kitimat in 1950. He worked three years and in his free time took many pictures.

Photograph of friends of Matt Gooding. They all gathered for a farewell gathering in honor of him and his wife. Mayer Sam Lindsay, right, presented a plague on behalf of the people of Kitimat to the ex-Reeve as his wife smiles happily. Other presentations were made by Bob Kraft- a carving set om behalf those present- and by Aubrey Creed a life membership in the Kitimat yacht club in appreciation of services rendered by the ex- commadore.
