Coins in pennies, nickles, dines, quarters and half-dollars weighing about 100 pounds, and bundles of dollar bills totalling approximately $1,700 took members of the Canadian Legion Kitimat branch four hours to count. Money came from sale of poppies on Rememberance Day. Ron Fairclough, Legion secretary said total is almost double the last year's amount.
