Mrs. Ryan and her husband, Robin and daughters Cindy, Shelly and Melanie live at 85 Oriole street. She teaches grades 3 and 4, her prefered subjects being art, music and history. Mrs. Ryan graduated from Hurstville Highschool in Sydney, Australia. Her spair time activities include drama and choir work.

Mrs. Henriksen and her Husband Mr. W.L. Henriksen, came to Kitimat in June, 1995, from Saskatoon, and have made their home at 95 Mallard. They have four Children and ten grandchildren to keep their interest in schools lively and are also active in the community. Mrs. Henriksen belongs to the Tastmimistress Club and the Rod and Gun Club and is interested in camping, fishing and reading.

Miss Brandson hails from Sydney, Austrailia, where she graduated. Miss Brandson took her teacher Training in U.B.C. and now teaches in Nechako School, and enjoys tennis and swimming, like many Australians.

Mrs. Kernested came to Kitimat in 1956 with her husband Len and their daughter, Lynn, to make their home at 28 stikine. Mrs. Kernested taught grades 7 and 8 at Mount Elizabeth Secondary School till her appiontment as vice principal of Nechako Elementary in September, 1962. She enjoys camping and raising tropical fish as hobbies. Mrs. Kernested grew up Ashern Manitoba, and is a graduate of Lowe Farm High School and the university of Manitoba.

Mrs. Lajoie hails from antler, Saskatchewan, graduated in Bellegarse and taught in st. Boniface, Manitoba. She and he husband Leo Came to Kitimat in 1964. Mrs. Lajoie Plays baseball in he spare time.

Mrs. Friar graduated from Lord Byng High School in Vancouver, her home town. She was attending U.B.C. prior to her appointment in September, 1963, as a grade 3 teacher. She enjoys hiking and bowling and her preferred subjects are biology and geography.

Mrs. Spitz makes her home at 114 Kootenay with her husband and five children, having been residents of Kitimat since 1955. Mrs. Spitz graduated from Swan River High School, Winnipeg, and had been a substitute teacher in Kitimat for six years prior to being placed on the permanent staff in September, 1962. Mrs. Spitz is well known for her activities in various Kitimat organizations.

Mrs. Stewart and her husband Michael and baby Laura, arrived in Kitimat in 1963. A graduate of Victoria College, her home town is Oyama and she was previously employed as a teacher in Grove County Primary School in London. Mrs. Stewart teaches grade 1 and enjoys reading.

Mrs. Timmermans, her husband Roy and children, Peter, Yoke, Marian and Edward have lived in Kitimat Since 1962. She was raised in Enschede, Holland, and graduated from the state Teachers Training College in Holland. Mrs. Timmermans is a brownie pack leader and teaches kindergarden.

Mr. Schmor was supervisor of Elementary Instruction For the Cranbrook/Fernie Districts prior to accepting the positon of Principle of Nechako Elementary School in September, 1964. Mr. Schmor is a graduate of Saskatoon Teachers College and U.B.C. His hobbies include music and curling. Mr. Schmor, his wife Ruth, and daughters Christine and Sallyanne make their home at 51 Wedeen.

Miss Burns Came to Kitimat in September, 1964 after attending U.B.C. She hails from Oliver B.C. and is a graduate of Southern Okanogan Secondary School. Presently teaching a grade 5 class. She enjoys badminton, music, swimming and volleyball as hobbies. Her comments "Kitimat is a very impressive city, so clean, with beutiful houses and landscaping"

She is a graduate of Victoria Normal School and the University of victoria and taught at Willows Elementary School. She is presently teaching a grade 2 and her hobbies include reading, sewing and knitting.

Miss Shykora hails from Grindrod B.C. and she is a graduate of enderby secondary school and salmon arm senior high. she came to kitimat in september 1964 after attending U.B.C. to start her teaching career. She is presently teaching a grade 6 class, her preferred subjects being math, english and art. For relaxation she enjoys sewing, art, swimming, mountain climbing, boating and skating. Miss Shykora comments "i never expected to find Kitimat so well organised and well kept"

Mr.Grant first came to Kitimat in October 1960 and returned here with his wife Rita (a teacher at Mount Elizabeth) in September 1964 after a years leave of absence to attend the university of Victoria. Mr. Grant is presently teaching a grade seven class, his preferred subjects are P.E and social studies.
