Miss Shykora hails from Grindrod B.C. and she is a graduate of enderby secondary school and salmon arm senior high. she came to kitimat in september 1964 after attending U.B.C. to start her teaching career. She is presently teaching a grade 6 class, her preferred subjects being math, english and art. For relaxation she enjoys sewing, art, swimming, mountain climbing, boating and skating. Miss Shykora comments "i never expected to find Kitimat so well organised and well kept"
