Photograph of an ambulance service that was inaugurated by the municipality and is now operated by the firemen in the Townsite. The service is available for serious accidents on a 24-hour day basis. Here firemen Warren Banks and fire chief Aubrey Creed demonstrate the use of a stretcher which has been fitted to the new fire box red ambulance unit.
