Mr. Penners hobbies include hiking and photography. His favourite subjects are social studies and math and he is teaching Jr. English and social studies at the high school. a former Chilliwack resident, he was a student at Chilliwack high school and the Mennonite education institute, Abostford. Mr. and Mrs. Penner and their children came to Kitimat in the 1960's and make their home at 31 Plover street.
