Photograph of the July 1st parade in 1956 on Kingfisher Avenue. A parade float featuring Miss Kitimat (Edna Webb) and another lady is in the centre. There is a large crowd watching. Behind, one of the Oceanview apartment buildings can be seen with lots of people in the windows and on the roof also watching. The aprtment looks incomplete.
