Photograph of fourteen years after he build the first 20 units of Aluminum City Lodge, owner-manager Loyal Filbey is now proceeding with the construction of another 20. Strachan construction of Kitimat was lowbidder on the two storey structure, 154 feet long by 22 feet wide which will also contain a restaurant and laundry room. Above, Mr. Filbey and Mr. Strachans superintendent Ralph Hall are seen in front of the building which is expected to be completed by July 1 and which will cost $200,000 including furnishings.

The Legionnaires usually prepare and serve the dinner and handle the clean-up chores (although there is a sneaky rumour going around that some them occasionally shanhai their L.A. Wives to assist them.)"
